Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms apply to any project or care plan booked with LuminusX, based in Pretoria, South Africa. By paying a deposit or confirming a project by email, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment

Payment schedules follow the tiers listed on our Pricing page and depend on project size. Deposits are non-refundable once design or development work has started. Care plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

3. Timelines

Delivery estimates (e.g. 3-5 days for Spark) assume timely feedback and content from you. Delays in providing content, approvals, or access can extend delivery dates.

4. Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own the final website and its content. We retain the right to showcase completed work in our own portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

5. Care plans

Monthly care plans cover hosting, security, and the support scope described on our Pricing page. Work outside that scope (e.g. major redesigns) is quoted separately. If a care plan lapses, we are not responsible for site downtime, security issues, or data loss that follows.

6. Liability

We aim for high-quality, reliable work but can't guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. traffic or sales increases). Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us for the relevant project or plan.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
